About Our Event

We are hosting our next outreach to the unhoused community on Saturday, June 15, from 11am-2pm. Our outreach program includes distributing food, hygiene items and other essentials, from our Warehouse! We are throwing a BLOCK PARTY which will include mobile showers, lunch for our guests, haircuts, sno cones and so much more. We have also partnered with Sacramento County to have practical resources available including the ability to sign up for Cal Fresh and Cash Aid. TruConnect is joining the party as well to qualify guests for free cell phones.

Schedule

9am - 11amSet Up

Volunteers will help set up tables, chairs, and the stations for the Block Party in the parking lot/culdesac.

11am - 2pmShowers, Lunch, Hair Cuts, Resources and more!

The event will be open to line up at various stations to receive services. Lunch will be provided, mobile showers, hair cuts, phone services and more.

2pm - 3pmClean Up

Volunteers will help clean up the parking lot and remove all trash from the premises.

We offer a portable phone charger exchange program. We loan chargers to our unhoused guests so they don't miss important phone calls and appointments. They exchange at the warehouse for a fully charged device when it drains.

We will be accepting clothing donations in advance for this event. Specific requests are men/women's new or clean tshirts and shorts. Shoes are always welcome! (No children's sizes)
